About

What Krista says about Jenny:

Jenny Spadafora is:

  1. Sort of a hermit, but not really. She can be pretty damned social in a mediated, digital way.
  2. Living in Boston in with a wife, 2 cats, and a purple library.
  3. Now with hair!
  4. The possessor of a very fine collection of stuffed animals and creatures.
  5. Not a cook, and at peace with that. It’s easier when you’re married to an awesome Italian foodie.
  6. A web evangelist. Krista thinks that in a past life, she was a rhetorician, cuz the persuasiveness carried over.
  7. Unafraid to cuss a blue streak.
  8. Tattooed.
  9. Pretty and witty and gay.
  10. A librarian who doesn’t work in libraries. The web is her library.

What Jenny says about Krista:

  1. Krista blogs at Thinkery (which used to be Areté, which Jenny remembers from the old days) where she is smart, funny, irreverent, and known to occasionally post wonderfully retro cheesecake images of redheads.
  2. She’s an academic geek who doesn’t take herself too seriously. How can you, when work means you get to think about the Internets all day?
  3. She cooks, and writes drool-worthy posts about food. (I notice she posts them when I’m hungry. So not fair.)
  4. She is going to throw-down with her dSLR til she wins, and you’ll be able to see proof of that right here.
  5. Krista has a curious obsession with fabulous socks. It started when she moved to Minnesota.
  6. She loves road trips, and could spend weeks crisscrossing the country. And actually does, as often as possible. Never less than 5,000 miles at a time, baby!
  7. She is the keeper of fish and carnivorous plants. She does not feed the fish to the plants.
  8. Krista was the kind of kid who named her dog Starbuck, after the original Battlestar Galactica tv show.
  9. I’m sure her interest in the Mall of America is purely anthropological. Or photogenic. It’s for sure not about shopping.
  10. She is from Arkansas, and it is probably best that a yankee from Maine not explain what this means.

Not that you should trust them. They’ve never met.
